Transfer from IKA Airport to the hotel
Arrival at IKA International airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to rest and relax before our morning tour start tomorrow. Overnight in Tehran.
In the morning we will visit Golestan Palace. Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. This amazing Palace in 2003 has become a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Afterward, its time to have lunch and take a rest in Darband. Darband, a nice village in the mountains north of Tehran for lunch. At the night or in the evening we will visit The Nature bridge and walk through this amazing and masterpiece of Iranian architecture and enjoy this place and then, returning to the hotel. We will head towards Kashan(235 km), stopping to admire Azadi Tower as we depart Tehran. Kashan is a popular touristic destination in Iran and attracts a large number of tourists annually. Kashan has over 7000 years of history and we will visit the beautiful UNESCO REGISTERED SITE ( Fin Garden ) during our stay. We will also visit both Tabatabai and Boroojerdi Houses, outstanding examples of upmarket historical houses typical of Kashan and Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse. Overnight in Kashan.
In the morning we will drive to Isfahan via Abyaneh, a historical Iranian mountain village located at the foot of the Karkas mountain. Appreciate the serenity of this quaint village with its splendid archaeology and meet the local people, dressed in traditional local Iranian dress, who speak an ancient form of the Persian language and live in the original Persian style. After visiting Abyaneh you transfer to Isfahan and after hotel check-in, start your exploration in Isfahan and visit Vank Cathedral church and Jolfa Square and Zayandeh rood river. Isfahan is the pearl of traditional Islamic archaeology. Isfahan. Because of its glories, it has been entitled “Half the World”.
Our full-day tour includes the famed Imam Square (Naqsh-e-Jahan), a huge square second in the world, after Tiananmen Square, Beijing, China.
Sheikh Lotfollah and Imam Mosques, Aliqapu Palace, Chehel Sutoon and Hasht Behesht Palaces, and also visit one of the most famous bazaars in Iran. Stay overnight in Isfahan.
We will drive to the historical and beautiful city of Shiraz – the city of civilization and great empires. It is regarded as one of the oldest cities of Ancient Persia – the earliest reference to the city as Tirazis is on Elamite clay tablets which date back to 2000 BC. On the way to Shiraz we will stop at Izad khast city and we will visit the fabulous castle of Izad khast and we take a rest and then drive to Shiraz and we will visit Quran Gate. Overnight in Shiraz.
After breakfast, we will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque) and Naranjestan Garden. Then, visit Karim Khan Citadel which was built during the Zand Dynasty(18th century). You’ll have time to explore Vakil Bazaar, home to hundreds of stores, beautiful courtyards, and even an ancient caravanserai. In the evening we will visit the magnificent Eram Garden. It is such a unique and gorgeous garden that is inscribed on the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Afterward, we will visit Hafez Tomb. Hafez is one of the poetry geniuses from all times, whom Goethe, the great German poet, wished to be one of his disciples. Stay overnight in Shiraz.
In the morning we will drive to Persepolis, visiting the magnificent UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE of Achaemenids Palaces and carvings of Naghsh-e- Rostam to get acquaintance with Persian Empire, and Persian Civilization and History. Persepolis founded by Darius I in 518 B.C., Persepolis was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. The importance and quality of the monumental ruins make it a unique archaeological site. In the evening we will visit the magnificent salt lake or Pink Lake in Shiraz. Stay overnight in Shiraz.
On the way we will stop in Pasargadae to visit the most important and majestic monuments there. The tomb of Cyrus the Great, the originator and the great founder of the Achaemenian Empire, (500 years BC) is the oldest historical tomb. This amazing site was designated a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in 2004. Then we drive to visit the old tree of Abarkouh.
After that, we will drive to Zeinoddin, a Safavid Caravanserai in the heart of the desert which has been restored in the best way possible and got gained from UNESCO in 2005 and 2006. Stay overnight in Zeinodin Caravanserai.
En root to Yazd, we will visit Saryazd.
Saryazd has a castle belonging to the Sassanid era(2nd & 3rd century AD) which was used as a haven in time of war. Another historical place out there is caravanserai in Saryazd which dates back to the Seljuk(11 & 12 century AD) and the Safavid era(16&17 century AD). Today’s tour includes visiting Dakhmeh (tower of silence, where Zoroastrians used to leave their corpse to be eaten by vultures). The Zoroastrian fire temples are the next stop. In the afternoon you will enjoy an interesting walking tour through the old district to see the wind catchers. Overnight in Yazd
Today’s tour includes Dowlat Abad Garden, One of the 9 Iranian gardens registered in UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE then visiting Jameh mosque of Yazd, Alexandra Prison (Ziaeeyeh School), Amir Chakhmagh and Zurkhaneh. Zurkhaneh is a combination of martial arts, strength training, and music. Way before bodybuilding, Persians used to practice weightlifting in Zurkhaneh. We can see this tradition present in ancient Iranian stories too. Then, we will visit Amir chakhmagh square and afterward we walk through the old district and enjoy this mud-brick city. Overnight in Yazd.
